The felt pen starts from one strand of tape over the knuckle area to the other, this is a case of the inspector insuring that no tape is directly over the knuckle area as that would be illegal.

So the question is How can Miguel lie and say nobody was in the dressing room? When its obvious someone pointed that tape out as a concern to the inspector. Do you think Team Margarito is going to point that out to an inspector?

There's no proof that anybody from Team Cotto was in that room other than word of mouth, it can't be proven outside of that so its a matter of "who do you believe". And the pic you posted is just from a different angle than the other ones, so it convenient for you to choose those and where did you get that someone from Team Cotto pointed to an inspector to fix something?....you just assuming that.

Loading up his gloves gives him confidence and a clear advantage over his opponent. Cheating in a sport like this only proves he's a scumbag, especially when he made a career calling out smaller opponents only to cheat, struggle and lose against them.

You can try to justify his antics any way you want, it will only prove you're an idiot. Go to a boxing gym, spend more than 6 months training, exchange punches against someone with loaded gloves then attempt to defend a cheating scumbag. Fool.

 

Margarito is far too tainted to ever be legitimately involved in a discussion like this.

 

It's quite simple actually. One's wins are legit, the other went on a brutal losing streak as soon as his cheating bull**** got found out.

I'm neither a Margarito fan, nor a fan of A. the outright silliness of acting like he never brought anything to the table that couldn't be related to loaded gloves or B. assuming that his team was getting away with loaded gloves, miraculously, for each and every time he fought a good fighter because he's so inept he wouldn't have been able to prevail without cheating, which seems to be a popular sentiment. Everyone just happened to miss it because Brother Nas is the only one capable of such heroic vision, apparently. Margo had been boxing for over a decade at that point, and had been fighting professionally for 6 years at that point. Sergio had only been professional for 2 years at the time and had only started boxing 5 years earlier.
