For me I think their resumes are very similar. A lot of B level names, both lack that A level P4P win

    BUD:

    Horn
    Benavidez
    Lundy
    Molina
    Indongo
    Postol
    Beltran
    Gamboa

    GGG:

    Canelo Draw
    Jacobs
    Macklin
    Murray
    Brookz
    Rosado
    Geale
    Vanes

What has Crawford done thats as good as beating Jacobs and 'drawing' with Canelo.

    And, you didnt list Lemieux.

    Gennady does.

    1) Outboxed and beat Canelo. Twice
    2) Beat Jacobs
    3) 19 title defenses
    4) No history of being a weight bully
    5) Throw in GGG’s amateur credentials and it puts the final nail in.

    GGG > Crawford

Crawford IMO is the better p4p fighter but as far as their resumes go I don't think it's even close, GGG -- and by far.

Jacobs and Canelo are both elite nd officially he's 1-1-1 in his three fights against elite opponents. That said "official" in the context of boxing matches results -- with the blatant state of corruoption involved in the sport -- is about as relevent as WWE "official" results. You can argue he's 3-0, 2-1...... Whatever. He's still fought two elite fighters who were in their primes while he was on the decline and all were razor close and competitive with the large majority of fans and media thinking he went 3-0. Also, the Kell Brook win is probably as good as any win and opponent on Crawford's resume. kassimo Ouma and Rubio are also better than a number of names on Crawford's resume. Vanes I think is a very underrated win also, he drew once against Lara and to that point his only three losses were razor close losses to Lara, Demetrius Andrade, and Jermell Charlo. Ya he was coming up in weight, but still had height and reach advantages, and got absolutely wrecked in 2 rounds.

I think Crawford when all is said and done will be viewed as the better p4p fighter overall between the two after both their careers have finished.

I think GGG'S WINS over Jacobs is better than any one name on Crawford's resume at the moment. Crawford is more talented though.

Postol amd Gamboa are the most impressive wins to me on Crawfords resume. His absolute destruction of Pistol is very underrated and Gamboa is a good scalp on paper, but when they fought he was already declining, outrageously outsized and coming up in weight, and had been inactive for quite a bit before they fought.

    GGG

    But also

GGG is usually the one who is at weight disadvantage and he has fought all over the world and in many different countries many different times, whereas Crawford usually has a significant weight advantage over his opponents regardless of what weight division he's campaigning in and has only fought outside the US once and they want to award him the medal of honour for doing that lol

On the "eye test" Crawford proves his special ability to me everytime I watch him, just by watching him fight I KNOW he has generational talent and skills but if I'm being honest and objective his resume is about as bad as it gets for a high ranking p4p fighter, especially the closer you look at it and when put into proper context. He's massive for 135 and 140, and I could easily envision him being competitive if not beating the best at 154 and 160 and besides maybe 3 fighters tops between those two divisions combined, I dont think he faces off against anyone that holds a distinctive size advantage over him. Even Jarrett Hurd wouldn't have the edge in size advantage against Crawford that Crawford has had in many of his fights to date.

obv 3G, dont be silly! he has a defence against an elite in Canelo which trumps anything crawford has done.

however enither has finished, so you cant compare yet. Also one is in his 31, the other 36. if u compare like age for like, its oddly changed, that crawford is way ahead.
