Ottke is a far better opponent than I have ever bested.
    So is
    Green
    Echols
    Siaca
    KESSLER

will need all of your support monday guys when Im just the bum that used to have a title, with no profile, not many fans, and no future

Anthony Mundine had a good 9th round til with about 30 seconds left Sven Ottke cornered him and staggered him with a flurry including a big right that landed flush.

Mundine backpedaled for much of the 10th until Ottke caught him with the right that put him into a coma >>>

If you take out the ridiculous 2 point deduction for the alleged headbutt in the third or fourth round, and include the knockdown Mundine scored in the 9th, which was ruled a slip, Mundine was winning the fight.

If the fight went the full twelve and these two were factored into the scorecards, it would have been an interesting result.

    i beg to differ
geale's making all the right moves and deserves full props for not only winning a strap in germany AND going back there looking for another one - but even geale knows that this is a smart and necessary 'leg up' that gives him some genuine leverage for a tilt at the legit MW champ, who will be the winner between martinez and chavez

dont ever legitimize geale's belt as a "legitimate full title" when its nothing but a paper title - but still one that got him the fight with sturm, and can lead him to a genuine world tilt

lets not be biased here..Germany today and Germany 5-10 years ago..big difference
Now days a fighter can travel over there and get a win..back then,a knockout was a draw, lets be real its to different era's

Geale and Sturm is likely to go the full 12 rounds. Geale will have to do a lot more than edge it to get the win. Germany hasn't changed that much.

germany hasnt changed, geale went to fight, mundine just tried to survive, looking for a miracle and run out of puff trying to run backwards against a bloke who is not a big hitter, as 'boss' says, geale will have to more than edge sturm to win, he has the courage, so good luck dan, true aussie champ

I think everyones feelings towards the two have drastically changed the outcome of this thread.

Mundine though a douchebag has absolutely trumped Geale to this day in terms of Resume. Kessler, Ottke, Green and Siaca were all good well ranked fighters.

IMO Geale needs to fight Sturm and then maybe even JCC Jr, that alone would make his resume equal IMO.

Echols was shot. I mean literally shot before he fought Mundine.

 Mundine has a better resume and it's not his fault Echols got shot but Antwun had bad nerve damage and was never the same after that. Not a great win for Mundine.
