Who's got better 'resume' between these current and past boxer?
(in boxing skills and life outside)

Unforgetting their past and dark scenes of their life, which one of them
will prevail to have a better image as the years go by??

Floyd on both accounts. I love Tyson and he was far more exciting to watch from a pure fans perspective.

In the ring Tyson unfortunately lost to his versions of Castillo and Corrales in Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis. Mike never beat a HOFer in their prime and Mayweather at least has those three wins against JLC and Diego. Mayweather also has many more title fights/wins and of course thus far has not lost in 15+ years.

Outside of the ring they both have displayed aberrant behavior. Tyson again has one upped FMJ in the uncivilized displays of a lewd and violent nature. Tyson past sound bites, public displays of violence, and having served a **** sentence leave him with a more critical public opinion.

Fortunately Tyson has tried his best to better himself as a human being and that helps the public forgive his past aggression, just as the now more mature Floyd is beginning to become more widely received even by his haters.

OVERALL RESUME: Floyd Mayweather Jr. "the slightly less jerky douchebag"

Tyson by miles! Same class of opponents.

But Tyson gave us blood, guts, entertainment and knockouts! Yes he lost fights, but Tyson that ruled prior to prison had no equal.

Man was A household name around the world. From USA to Kazakhstan.

Void on the other hand gave world cherry picking, retirement, I haven't got the urge, I am rich coward.

    Resume + legacy
    Tyson > void

    Floyd of course.

But Tyson had a 100 times more aura at the time he was the best, Floyd is just a WW while he was the "unbeatable" king of boxing.
Tyson is much more historically relevant because of that.

Floyd, Mike never beat a great fighter and lost to Buster Douglas in his prime.

"Resume", "boxing skills", "life outside" and "image" are four completely different and not strictly correlative things; you realize this, yes?

    Really, Mike Tyson?

    LOL!

He's never beaten anyone elite in their primes ever.

His best win = Michael Spinks and then his resume falls off a cliff. This was when Spinks was at the tail end of his career, 33 years old

What kind of question is this?

What's their resume's got to do with their life outside the ring? :huh
