I don’t want to become too trapped in the moment of Fury’s monster performance last weekend. So it got me thinking- neither he or Ingemar had many pro bouts which one has a better resume. Ingo as an underdog - demolished the undefeated #1 contender Eddie Machen to earn a title shot in one round. Then in his title shot demolished the 1 loss champion by knocking him down around 7 times in 3 rounds. Fury on the other hand defeated soundly one of the longest reigning champions in history by UD. Then took apart the much hyped extremely hard hitting undefeated number 2 contender Wilder and brutalized him over 7 rounds for the tko. not H2h just whose resume looks better.
First of all Ingo has the best name on his resume (Prime Patterson) but I see Fury beating everyone Ingo fought with ease. I can see a few people on Fury's resume probably beating Ingo. But to answer your question I would say Fury because resumes don't mention the age and Fury did beat Wlad despite him being past it.
As of now it’s Ingo. ButI would rate Fury better h2h. So long as he remains focused he can clear the division and solidify his place in history as a h2h monster and someone with a record to prove it. Oddly it wasn’t long ago Wlad was thought of as a mediocre champion. Lately he’s been touted as the best HW win one could have gotten. Odd how things like that work...rose colored glasses I suppose.
Wladimir klitschko would **** on prime patterson. So yes, Fury has better record and Fury would handle ingo like a rag doll
funny how you uses it in your convenience janitor. According to your logic nobody could compare any fighter because this never happened "in the real universe" . In the real universe wladimir klitschko is much better win than the little floyd Patterson. Period
