Inoue has a better resume and Inoue doesn't have the struggles Loma has. Inoue would never lose to a Teofimo level fighter or have a close fight with a Haney level fighter. P4P he would wipe guys like that out.

Loma I think has beat the slightly better resume based on the guys he's beaten. But Inoue has looked far more dominant and unlike Loma is undefeated and Inoue at 31 is still prime and will no doubt add to his resume. I fully expect Inoue to surpass Loma by the time he retires.

You've got to take things in to consideration, Loma started relatively late, had he started younger and stayed closer to his natural weight he would be an ATG by now.

Even if he'd stayed closer to his natural weight what fights could've made him an ATG ?

People like to mention ATG alot but you do realize ATGs are fighters like Henry Armstrong, Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, etc.

The only thing that elevates Inoue is Donaire. Lomachenko has been fighting at greater disparity for longer.

Inoue is more athletic but more of a dog. Should make it happen at 126.

    Inoue top wins

    Nonito Donaire
    Stephen Fulton
    Omar Narvaez
    Marlon Tapales
    Ryoichi Taguchi
    Luis Nery
    Emanuel Navarette
    Adrian Hernandez
    Jamie McDonnell

    Loma top wins

    Devin Haney
    Nicholas Walters
    Gary Russell Jr
    George Kambosos

Using "at least as credible as Jamie McDonnel". Loma has the fan appeal but if you actually know anything about the two lists you'll take Inoue by a mile. unless you really, really value George Kambosos and the guy who beat him. Walters is actually Loma's best name but I doubt anyone who voted him knows that

    Loma for sure

Look at how much bigger than him everyone who Loma has fought at 135 is. The size difference is huge and very noticeable. Now compare that to Inoue at 118 his 3rd weight class, 4th from where he started out at. Compare it to 122 his 5th weight class. Yeah, exactly. There's no noticeable size difference at all sans really McDonnell

Inoue turned pro aged 19.5 y/o, Loma was 25.5 y/o.

Had Loma turned pro at 19 he would've, like Inoue, started at a much lower weight due to 24 hour weigh ins and 135 would not be his 3rd division. It would probably be his 5th or maybe 6th. Hence why he looks so tiny at 135 compared to all his opponents, between 2-3 divisions lighter or 4 in Haney's case. Those guys might be bigger than Inoue at 122 but not by much and it's not noticeable at all, whereas, conversely, the size disparity between Loma and his opponents is very glaring.

Also factor in that Loma is constantly fighting on the road and in his opponent's backyards, whereas, conversely, Inoue is primarily fighting at home in Japan other than a handful of times.

And Loma has fought a lot of big punchers too and KO artists, many bigger, much or way bigger than him, all on the road.

If Inoue moved up to a division where the size disparity was as huge as it is between Loma and his opponents at 135 people would be saying how unfair it is and how unfair it would be to not factor in the huge physical advantages he's routinely giving away when daring to be great against fighters so much bigger than him

Hell, they wanted to crucify Loma on a molten cross for even entertaining the notion of one day possibly fighting Inoue at 126 even though he was merely respectfully responding to a question from a reporter who said how much of an intriguing fight they considered it and the size difference between Loma and Inoue at the time was about the same as it is between Loma and the smaller albeit still big fighters he's fighting at 135, let alone the much or way bigger ones.

I'm not trying to poop on Inoue as he's absolutely amazing and my 3rd favourite fighter but this has to be factored in because it matters. It matters a lot but many will ignore it.

I would go with Loma, but both are great and fun for me to watch.

Inoue is much more dominant and has beaten all the best guys he could face, as well as becoming two time undisputed. But Loma has had to face stiff competition himself. If Loma manages to beat Tank and Shakur and becomes undisputed at 135 he could have a good argument over Inoue.

You should add Linares, Rigondeaux, Martinez, to Lomachenko's resume.

And i would say Rigondeaux is Loma's best win.

And remove Haney, since it's not an actual official win.
