Mayweather by a long long way.

I know this is 13 years ago but this is nonsense. Chavez ducked rematches with Whitaker, Taylor and Randall. He also didn't fight Whitaker for ages

He had 2 rematches with Randall and demolished Taylor in a rematch. Moot point.

    It's a good argument:
    1. He didn't give Randall his rematch until 2004. (He took the first rematch because he lost.)
    2. He waited four years until Taylor was spent before giving the rematch.
    3. He didn't give Whitaker a rematch.

Anyway, anyone who thinks Chavez has a better resume than Floyd doesn't know **** about boxing.

Hate to say it but anybody that picks the king of the Cherry pickers..the guy that waited for fighters to grow old to have a scalp on his record. Basically the guy Canelo learned from yea you guessed it FMM. If that's your pick you dont know #### about boxing.

As opposed to Chavez, who spent long stretches feasting upon journeymen and mandatories.

Mayweather's 130lb resume is better than Chavez's 130lb resume. And his resume overall has better names due to the fighters he faced and defeated post initial retirement.

Let's just say I disagree. FM was very calculated about who he fought and at the point said opponent was in there career
The man was even allowed to dictate what gloves Maidana wore while Floyd himself wore Grant's. Punchers gloves. Come on what kind of BS was that to name one.

Both have awesome resumes. But Floyd’s has a bigger list of quality scalps and less padding
