Better Resume Marciano Or Liston

Liston beat More prime fighters. Knocked them out quicker. Buttttttttt Marciano has the edge on top tier quality wins.

I think these three were all better than Liston opponents, maybe with the exception of Patterson.

A case could be made. I still might go with Charles over him (at least in the first fight). Moore is tough because he lost to Patterson but it might be caused by styles. I would take Floyd over Walcott.

 

I'd pick prime Charles over Patterson, but how prime he was by the time he fought Rocky is a moot point.Marciano probably took a lot out of Archie,as he did Layne,Charles,Cockell ,and Walcott,but you may well be right, Floyd's speed against Moore might always be the deciding factor.

 

I voted Rocky & I vote him again to KO Liston in a fantasy matchup.
