This same thread comes up once a year or so, and it's Oscar every time. If Floyd had the balls he could have been greater

The names in Hoya's resume are light years ahead than the names in Mayweather's resume! What the hell are you talking about?

That is why even if Hoya comes up short in his big fights, people are very forgiving and would always place him higher than Mayweather in the atg ranking.

****ers, quit forcing me to vote against Money!!!! lol. Of course it's Oscar, Oscars got one of the best resume's I've ever seen. And though he lost to a number of the top guys he faced, that resume is a virtual who's who of the 90's/early 2000's welters. That bein said, Money a G, **** dem haterz!!!!

Floyd is far greater and better than Oscar, just not in resume, there are many other factors that contribute to ATG status in my eyes, and I have Floyd ranked much higher in that regard. Floyd a G, **** dem haterz

    G. Hernandez is also on De La Hoya's resume.

In terms of names De La Hoya has the better resume. However in term of quility wins (whic is what i judge resumes on )meaning level of oppoent and how he won Mayweather has the better resume.

It's a hard 1. I went with Oscar. Yes he lost a few of his big fights, but at least he fought the best i their primes. We cant say the same about Mayweather IMO. Would he still be undefeated if he fought the names on Oscar's resume? I doubt it.

  14. Oscar took on all comers in their primes. Floyd takes vacations in his prime.
