Everyone should pick Marciano, since that's the right answer, but we all know who won't and that'll cause debate.

Maybe McVey and Mendoza will be on the same side.

Marciano's record shits on GGG's, when Marciano upped the calibre of his opponents he still stopped most of them.Golovkin began to struggle a bit.

There is really no comparison other than both of them being iron chinned guys who apply pressure and made the most of a decent but not great era. Golovkin can fight at mid range and has a great jab, Marciano is more than happy to role up his sleeves and slug and is a better combination puncher (which is something i wish golovkin would do more often).

As for resume its not even close. Golovkin became much more of a diva as he got up in popularity with careful matchmaking and months of inactivity. Rocky did the opposite and cleared out most of his division until he worked himself half to death and had to retire from his body breaking down. A True fan's champion who kept his money, legacy, and health.

It depends which era you like the most, I like Marciano's resume. Golovkin is good but, Marciano left a pretty good legacy, 49-0, 43 Knockouts, retired as champion in 1956, was champion from 1952-1956, 6 title defenses.
