I don't like Calslappy but atleast he has some names on his resume, Vitaly's resume is a joke, typical resume of a journeyman.

Joe Calzaghe. End of discussion. Foolish argument

Clearly Calzaghe. But Vitali is the clearly best heavyweight (2nd only to Lewis in his career). Just a shame the HW division sucks and he cant get big wins on his record.

this is close with both guys mainly fighting fringe contender types. joe c got a close (disputed possibly) win over a 43 year old atg and vitaly has a hard fought loss on cuts to a 38 (39?) year old atg. calzaghe's two w's over kessler and old eubank might be a bit better than vitaly's best w's but calzaghe has as as many soft touches on his resume (or more) than vitaly.

    :D

Stupid question. When was Klitschko undisputed champ in 2 divisions at the same time, or being discussed as the p4p best?

But it's not a serious question? Or is it? :think

Joe. He definitely fought more stiffs than he should during his prime years, but he also beat some very good opponents he gets next to no credit for beating in US simply because they are European or fought most of their significant bouts in Europe and were not televised in the US

    Head-to-head Joe?!?!?!?!?!?

You think peak Calzaghe (168lbs) could beat peak Vitali (240lbs)?!

    Laughable.

On the question of resume, Calzaghe has a very slightly better resume, very very slightly. I expect Vitali to improve his to be clearly better than Joe's over the next couple of years.

Calzaghe was never the undisputed champ at LHW. Simply having the ring belt does not make you undisputed. Marquez has the ring belt at 135, and he sure as hell isn't undisputed. Furthermore, how the hell is a 240 lb HW ever supposed to even compete in more than one division?

For all of you picking Joe think about this. He fought Manfredo like 3 fights ago.
