For all of you picking Vitali think about this. Remove your head from your arse.

Calzaghe has the better resume, and its not close.

Calzaghe. His best wins are Eubank, Hopkins, Kessler, Reid and Lacy.

Vitali's are Sam Peter, Danny Williams, Sanders and Kirk Johnson. Or is it Herbie Hide?

We have some real dumbasses on this forum.

He is a ****ing idiot in fairness. I don't know how you fail to learn something about boxing when you've spent that much time on here.

Surely that performance v Lewis is of greater value than a split decision over Robin Reid or a win over a Eubank in semi-retirement or a win over Jeff 'Limited' Lacy?

I agree Calzaghe's is better, but IMO it's not a landslide, both resumes are pretty weak.

    That "performance"

He ****ing lost to the heaviest Lewis had been since...I don't know when, closer to 40 than 35, and with 1 year of inactivity. Yeah well done on getting your face rearranged Vitali.

Even if it did, Calzaghe's wins are way way ahead of **** like Williams, Johnson, Sanders and anybody else we want to drag up...its irretrievable. I'm really disapointed in your vote, I definitely thought you at least had a glimmer of objectivity regarding Calzaghe.

I always vote against Calzaghe in polls, because one vote the other way combats the insane mania of one of the many Calzaghe fanatics on this forum. I vote against his fans every time, and always will. However, I do think his resume is better.

I understand this was not absolute peak Lewis and I believe the stoppage was legitimate and also that Lewis would've won anyway had the fight gone on, but that sort of performance (come on, a little objectivity from you, Vitali was excellent on the night) against the greatest heavyweight of the lasy 20 years at least was a showing of real quality.

Once again being a jerkoff...or have you just been "flirting" with me all day?? You know how a little boy runs up and kicks the little girl he likes in the shins? :think

But I'll entertain your ignorant ass once again and maybe chase you off this topic too.....like I made you post "lets forget about Pac for now" :rofl :rofl :rofl

I never said Vitali had a better resume. I don't think he does. And you may think I'm an idiot for bringing up Manfredo but it means a hell of alot more then you can understand in that pea brain of yours obviously. Calzaghe ignored the American public his entire careeer. He used his drawing power over in Europe as a bargaining chip, and also as an excuse to avoid any competition over in America.....FACT! and his resume suffered for it. Obviously he realized that he had to start appealling to the American public late in his career if he ever truly wants to be remembered by them at all, let alone remembered as an ATG. So he fights Lacy and schools him....great performance. But he is still not known. So he chooses to fight a former Reality TV star....who didn't even win the show in Peter Manfredo. Manfredo is very well known by the American public, some idiots actually think he is an elite fighter or at least did  Calzaghe sacrificed a fight that could've possibly enhanced his legacy for a "get popular" fight which would hopefully enhance his drawing power in america. He was said to be one of the best in the world and he fought Bika and Manfredo back to back??????? This is why, along with him never leaving Europe until recently, his resume is in question. He sacrificed his legacy for the comfort of fighting sub par competition in his own town :deal

And just the mere fact that some people say its close shows you how badly Calzaghes legacy has suffered from his career "strategy".

I've already said well done. He did well against a great heavyweight. However, considering the factors I just mentioned and you just acknowledged, it takes the shine off it. And either way, he lost at the end of the day. Don't expect losses to pull things back if your next best win is Corrie Sanders. I mean the rest of the names on Vitali's are about even to Charles Brewer, its that bad.

Your vote says it all, you won't even pick the guy when you know you should. You've virtually admitted you can't be objective regarding Calzaghe, you can't even vote fairly and are intellectually dishonest. I called you out on this since the day you joined and will continue till the end of time, but you'd always argue your corner. I'd say this is case closed, you are not neutral.

NUMBER OF FIGHTERS CALZAGHE HAS FOUGHT WHO WERE RANKED IN THE WORLD'S TOP 10 POUND-FOR-POUND AT THE TIME: One.

NUMBER OF FIGHTERS CALZAGHE HAS FOUGHT THAT TOOK PART IN REALITY TV SHOWS: Two.

Like it or not, it's true.

I disagree. A thorough dislike of the guys' fans and the fact that I do not rate him as highly as most does not affect my objectivity in discussing him. If he ever beats Pavlik or Dawson, you will read the praises I lavish on him because he will deserve them. Were I on this forum at the time of the Kessler fight, you would have read it then.

I'm not even going to read BewareofGay's post. I never thought I'd say this, but Prescott has that guy right. He is better when he's sucking Oscar's dick than posting on boxing.

He obviously has that avatar due to poor analysis and a lost bet. I know when I see his homosexual avatar to just scroll right on down.

I don't like Calslappy and I'm rooting for RJJ, but this nuthuggery from Klithuggers is really pathetic, they **** on Joe's resume while shallow atleast has quite a few good names on it while Vitaly has absolutely nothing than they try to rationalise how his LOSING performance against a 38 yr old, inactive, fat, out of shape Lewis makes him great.
