Now Fightclub is a "gay" movie? Ok guy and you just referenced Presscot :good This is becoming a pattern with you. You crawl up my ass, irritate the hell out of me and then when I actually post an explanation of logical argument you get **** out and flushed down the drain :good

See you in the next thread you troll on me in :rofl :rofl :rofl

It is pathetic at best. A dribbling ****** could look at the names on the two resumes and come to the correct conclusion, yet a number of voters can't.

This is how far Calzaghe hating has stooped I think. We've even got guys that vote for the other guy on purpose yet despite this claim to be objective in their posts on the matter. Yeah okay, we are going to believe that now :patsch

You must have been absent the day I went to war with the whole forum because I said (and I still think) that Calzaghe's resume is better than Shane Mosley's. I don't have to be a fan of the guy to take each case on its merits or look at him objectively.

Sometimes I think you're a good poster, other times I think you're an attention *****....

Don't get me wrong, I actually think you might have an argument there though you know before you say it how controversial such a view is around here...I don't think it can be denied that Mosley has at least faced the better competition of the two?

I was here. That was nice, however you've never exactly spoken about Mosley in glowing terms anyway so you havn't quite turned the corner yet ;)

You'll be telling me its better than Hamed's next.

I think Mosley's win over hoya is greater then any single accomplishment by Joe.....but overall resume, Joe might take actually. Not sure about that one really.

Yes, I would agree. He beat DLH convincingly at 147, no mean feat considering he was coming from 135....however whilst Mosley has faced a number of p4p fighters such as Forrest, Wright and Cotto he has came up short more often than not against the very best fighters he has faced....I do not believe he beat DLH in the 2nd fight either.

I'll post you a link to the thread. Rather predictably, it degenerated into a vicious hate-filled bitchfest because the very idea was utter blasphemy to Mosley fans, but I genuinely believe Mosley has the most overrated resume in boxing and that Joe's is better all-round.

I think you are a good poster but are pretty biased. I read your Calzaghe-Hopkins resume comparison and found it both strange and amusing, truly subconscious bias at work. If you hadn't wrote the summation finally discussing them directly and had just read the breakdown of either resume, you would think that you had come to the conclusion that Hopkins's resume is clearly stronger. Yet, the summation says equal. But your breakdown does not show equal resumes at all! It's just a little biased paragraph at the end that is pure opinion and not based on the actual evidence discussed that gives the final verdict as equal.

Calzaghe and Mosley have better resumes than Hamed. Naz's res is bollocks IMO.

No I scored the 2nd fight for Oscar too. But in Mosley's defense the Cotto fight could've went either way. Mosley kind of shot himself in the foot as far as legacy goes though. He should've stayed at 147 the highest or even dropped back down after beating Hoya and dominated.

Fair enough, I knew that would get the Mosley fans worked up (and there are many here) if you said that as you are of course known to be a fierce Calzaghe critic at least in terms of his resume...so to say JC is superior in that respect would really be asking for trouble!

I'll return to that thread and review it...it's my opinion that they have very similar resumes in terms of worth, though Hopkins has undeniably faced the better competition though unlike Joe, he has lost multiple fights usually against the best opponents he has faced.
