You're kidding? Maidana and Ortiz held legitimate titles at WW. Guererro was a top 10 WW when he fought Floyd

Im thinking more along the lines of Randall Bailey(Current form), Ashley Theopane,Soto Karrass and Josesito Lopez

Mayweather gets a hard time for fighting who he does fight.
Imagine if he fought those guys!

 

Only one of them is a cherrypicker. Wlad always faced every mandatory fighter, and never ducked anyone. This is the opposite of cherrypicking

Ortiz again had a very close fight with Berto to get his shot at Floyd, has since been knocked silly by Josesito Lopez and Collazo

Maidana beating Broner at WW doesn't mean a great deal. Broner struggled badly with semi-retired Paulie Malignaggi. Lost to Khan, Kotelnik, shutout by Devon Alexander

Has Floyd ever fought a legit WW? Or just guys dragged up from LW/JWW? Legitimate titles...really?

In facing Haye, Wlad has shown more nuts than Floyd ever has or probably will

 

I remember when he pulled out of his fight with Chisora citing an arm injury only to be seen enjoying a spot of golf days later

He has clearly avoided a few guys at HW

 

Guys move up in weights...you do realize Floyd himself started at 130 right?

What defines a "legit" WW?

Guys like Pianeta,Wach,Mormeck and Leapai were not even top 20 fighters let alone top 10.

If I was going to do what you just did, I could say Haye had struggled against a shot Valuev, and beaten washed up Ruiz and Barrett.

The Mormeck win is as good as Floyd's over one of his many over old shot fighters like Mosley. Mormeck has a strong case for making the HOF due to being one of the great CW champions of all time.

 

I like the "Wlad never ducked anyone" line. He got pasted by two scrubs in Puritty and Sanders and then had to get his big brother to fight his rematches for him.

Mayweather and it isn't remotely close.

Plus Floyd never defended his belts against a cancer patient or a forklift truck driver.

 

Wlad would have had to dominate a stacked HW division to have any chance of passing Floyd in that department who has been a world champion in so many different weight classes, beating multiple Hall of famers along the way.. Ducking has nothing to do with this, a resume is based on fights that happened, and its clearly Floyd...

Not to mention, Wlad has not beat every man he has ever fought, Floyd has.

Mormecks previous fight was scraping a SD against Timur Ibragimov.

Mormeck hadnt held a title at ANY division in 5 years when he fought Wlad.

Wlad fighting Mormeck would be similiar to Floyd fighting the Hatton thar Senchenko beat

The people who voted Vlad are probably from Ukraine or Kazakhstan. Trust me, they know what the reality is. Floyd's win over Oscar alone is worth more than Vlad's best 3 wins.
