Who do you think has the better SMW resume Chris Eubank or Mikkel Kessler?

Kessler has been willing to take on tough challenges and has a good SMW resume, but I think many have forgotten or are too young to know that Eubank also has a good SMW resume.

Eubank - Rocchigiani, Watson, Benn (draw), Malinga, Thornton, Holmes, Wharton

Kessler - Froch, Beyer, Sartison, Siaca, Andrade, Mundine, Lucas

Both have some other world class wins on their resumes

    So who do you think?

    I would say Eubank personally

at this point i'd say Eubank, but Kessler is still has a few fights left. depending on how they go he could definitely pass Eubank...

if kessler can get back in the mix and get a belt from steiglitz then bute? rematch with froch? (doubt he would beat ward on any day so wise to stay away from that boring s.o.b)
he would have the better resume. up til this point it doesn't surpass eubanks'

Kessler has one good win.. Froch, Eubank has Watson.... tough to decide but i'd side with Eubank. IMO Kessler has fought quality opponents 3 times, twice he was beaten easily and on the other occasion he scraped a very close decision. He gets very overrated on this place probably because of the whole 'viking warrior' facade he's got going on.

I agree Kessler has some time left and hopefully if the eye is better he can get back to somewhere near his best

Seems a bit unfair on both fighters Arcane.

You should consider also that Eubank beat undefeated Rocchigiani who was a former IBF SMW champ who relinquished his belt and went on to win the WBC title by beating Nunn. So Eubank beat an undefeated SMW champ also.
The draw Eubank had with Benn doesnt look a bad result if not a win and that many of Eubanks wins were against top 10 world class SMWs ie Wharton, Holmes, Malinga became WBC SMW champ, Jarvis, Thornton, Close All top 10 SMWs

With Kessler he also beat Beyer who was a 3 time WBC champ and winner of 10 SMW title fights with a good resume also.
Kessler also beat Mundine who became a WBA champ after losing to Kessler. No to forget Kessler beat Siaca the WBA champ also though admit he wasnt a great SMW

Think you're forgetting Eubank's greatest scalp... Nigel Benn! :deal

Clearly Eubank at this point. But as many say, Kessler's career isn't over yet.

This is only SMW resumes. Eubank beat Benn at MW and they drew at SMW

Also interesting that Nunn was WBA super-middle champ at the time of Eubank-Rocchigiani, and Eubank's previous fight was the draw with WBC champ Benn, (and before the year was out he beat a non-frozen Wharton far more convincingly than Benn did). For me Eubank was the top super-middle at the time over Toney (Watson > Barkley) and boxed a bit better against Thornton than Toney did.

    Spot on :good.
Rocchigiani went on to beat Nunn at LHW also.

Wharton seems to have been forgotten as a SMW over the years

don't wanna pick against eubank because he was one of the men who got me into boxing.

I remember watching an early fight of his a few years ago, at the time benn had knocked out pretty much everyone and eubank was known as boring. so eubank blasted this guy out with a huge shot and turned to the camera and said something like "nigel benn, just know I can hit just as hard as you can" something like that anyways.

    legend.

Eubank was a great showman and with Benns all action style it was fantastic TV, not to forget that Eubank was fighting very regular
