Pacquiao is in my mind the greatest southpaw to grace the game. Who else has done what he has, even against what some would call mediocre opposition?

For the record I do not think of marv as a southpaw, he was a switch hitter to me and i think about him as such.

Hand to hand Pea would embarrass him, but yeah, I think their careers are on a somewhat even level.

I lost my P4P list  but very highly, in the early 30's ahead of Jones Jr.

You don't rank Jones above Whitaker?

Pound for Pound lists are basically bull**** anyway, which is why I haven't bothered to update or remake one. Cross-Era comparisons of resume and certain H2H matchups usually end up being pretty stupid(see: most of the bad topics on Classic). The only one I really think about is my personal top 20-25 anyway.

Greater in terms of overall skill = Tendler
    Greater overall = Pacquiao

Not a Whitaker fan, eh, Swarmer? Somewhat refreshing, I have to say. Still, I'd rate him quite a bit higher.

Eh, sometimes I just get soured on how people tend to portray him as an untouchable defense master, unhittable and unbeatable :nut. I still like him quite a bit, but I just don't tend to rate fighters from the 90's super high. It's not really such a knock on Whitaker that I don't rate him so high, I just think that there are a lot of great fighters in history that I feel okay placing in front of him. Maybe I should go through my fight collection and rethink his placement. I think a lot of how I rate Pea has to do with how I rate Jones as well, so perhaps I need to give him another individual go around.
