Pea. I am not saying Sweet Pea isn't one of the best defensive boxers of all time, by the way. I'm simply saying that like any other fighter, he had some holes that could be exploited by the right kind of fighter.
I was kidding. Both Whitaker and Jones are exaggerated as being unbeatable and unhittable during their best. Of course, neither of them were.
Gimme Pac, but really it's too tough to compare the two so directly imo.Especially as a lot pac's most epic accomplishments are tied to modern weight division eight jumping and him being way better at it than almost anyone While also just happening to be really good inherently...rather than an outright beast laden with accomplishments at any couple of weights. I'm unsure even about the inevitable comparisons with him and Harada, due to the lack of relevant junior divisions in in the '60s.THough Pac's wins at Welter should give him the edge there now. What about some other southpaw comparisons from closer era's.Accavallo or Elorde..Gushiken or Kalule....Marvin Johnson or Khaosai Galaxy etc
I'm a huge Pac fan but going off the Leonard fight and some of what I've read I think Tendler edges him.
Whitaker would completely dominate Pacquiao imo, but i don't see the issue with ranking him over Whitaker, i think it's feasible tbh. Whitaker's a better fighter though for me.
