better top 5: Ward or Calzaghe?

Right now Calzaghe has the better resume, the Hopkins win is better than anything Ward has done but the Hopkins win was at lightheavyweight, if you go by their 168 work only than its almost even.

Ward has done most of his work in the past 2-3 years and if he keeps at the pace he's on he would pass Calzaghe pretty soon. I'd pick Ward to beat Calzaghe head to head if they had ever met. Calzaghe was a good fighter who stayed undefeated but I feel Ward is better and will end up(barring something strange) as having a better career.

 

This was discracefull. The ref is the same jdge who scored Froch v Kessler 117-111.

 

ummmm, Calzaghe had 46 fights and fought until he was 36

Ward has had 25 fights and is 27 years old.

It would be pretty pathetic if Calzaghe didnt have a better resume.

Come back when Ward is in his mid 30s and has 40 somethings fights and see who has the better resume.

 

Didn't it take almost a decade for Joe to leave the onfort of his own back yard ?
