Never been a fan of roach, I would go with Mayweather.

    Overall?
Well... Mayweather Sr. did train Jr. early in his career and Guzman and Dawson.. Don't really know who else her trained..
But Roach trained Pacquaio, Brian Viloria, Pendelosa, etc..

Roach by a long way, he has trained more champions and ATG fighters than Sr.

Yeah, they both are pretty decent.

I expected Roach to win this poll by a landslide, but I guess not.

I feel Roach is over rated, who has Roach developed from day 1? Most of these fighters that went to Roach were already established

Hatton wasn't listening to him. Sr. left him before the PAC fight. And definitely didn't teach him how to lead with his face.

It was Floyd Sr's fault that Hatton got Ko'd. He tried to turn a pressure fighter into a boxer

5 time trainer of the year vs ....
trained 23 or more world champions vs maybe 5 or 6
just to put some perspective here, remember Floyd's trained by his uncle Roger and Mayweather Sr. really hasn't done **** other than say he's the best trainer in the world whilst doing jack **** to back it up seriously what the **** has he done do even mentioned in the same breath as actual great trainers?

Seems like it should be hattons fault for hiring floyd. Hatton knew what he was getting. Just like a boxer can't blame freddie roach for not teaching him defense.

Hatton knows what type of trainer floyd is and he chose to hiring him. You hire a specialist that emphasizes technique and defense then that's how he is going to train you. How can you hire floyd and expect him to hone your brawling skills.

I guess if you take that logic then it is freddy's fault manny got knocked out...its not but ijs
