Devon Alexander's against Juan Urango or..... Miguel Acosta against Urbano Antillon??? Now, I know that the uppercut that Devon landed didn't actually END the fight but these two instances are two of the better uppercuts we've had in recent memory so I thought a poll would be fun. Here's footage of the Acosta uppercut: 6:26 real time [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lg1VVbPPTYQ[/ame] 7:17 slow motion / 7:30 slo mo different angle
The Acosta one wasn't all that impressive to me. To me even though he needs a lot of work, Andre Berto hands down has the most impressive looking uppercuts out there.
This one shits on both of those,go to the 05:25 mark. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=988G4tSGIYY&feature=PlayList&p=7AD0B0DB64C75DC9&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=45"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=988G4tSGIYY&feature=PlayList&p=7AD0B0DB64C75DC9&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=45[/ame]
Does someone know the name of the fighters where one fighter uppercuts the other and than immediately throws a right hook and ko's him. That was great.
Out of those 2 fight's.... I'd say Acosta's uppercut. Antillon seemed on the verge of getting stopped. Urango still looked OK/better at the time of the Alexander stoppage. (Then Antillon looked)
