    floyd vs jmm

    vitali vs briggs

    simple question.

both floyd and vitali were big favourites. both jmm and briggs looked bloated and way past their best.

I would have to say Mayweather Vs. JM. Marquez
    JMM is still relevant.

i agree. it puts things into perspective, as bad a mismatch as that was, and it still is seen as a better victory than vitali over briggs.

A top five pound for pounder or a washed up strong-man who hasn't beaten a valid opponent since 2006?

    Hmmmm.

JMM was just a high ranked old 'name' who moved up 2 more divisions from his already new division only to get ****ed on the scales some more.

    Briggs was just old.

A lot of people were very very wrong. That was a dumb prediction to make.

In the past few years Briggs just hasn't been anywhere near the top level of boxing in the division. Then he gets a shot at a title and everyone's looking for him to be better than he ever has been. It just wasn't going to happen.

Fair play to him for going in there and giving it a go but he just wasn't up to the job. He wouldn't even make it near the top 10 of the division right now (and looking at the division that's not very good at all!).

Which one's better? Thats like asking what's worse, eating **** or someone else's vomit?

Floyd fought a LW in a WW bout....
Vitali fought a guy with out a big win in ages and who was inactive....

    Double yawn
