BETTER WIN: Andre Ward vs Chad Dawson or Pacquiao vs De La Hoya?

so oddsmaker just magically set the odds without thinking who is the favorite? how do they come up with ward as the favorite and how do they have now as martinez as the betting favorite. it has nothing to with who they think is the favorite to win?

if the oddsmaker set oscar as the favorite with pac really was the actual favorite, don't you think they would lose money?

 

This is an easy one; Ward's win is better. Chad was nowhere near as old and ****ed up as DLH was.

sad thing is, oscar was conned by team pac to take that catchweight fight whereas dawson willingly wanted to do down.

 

even at 154 oscar will be ****ed! pac was just too fast that night. even if he wasn't drained he still could not pull the trigger. by the time he does pac is gone..

 

De la Hoya was a part-time boxer at the time. He was only a part-time boxer and more of a promoter/manager.

Dawson was a full-time focused top p4p fighter.

When a trainer talks about how the guy they are fighting is DONE,and he trained Oscar,well he knows what he is talking about.. The rest of us thought Oscar would win based on size,Manny was one pound more than Oscar on fight night.

So we can say Manny was the bigger man,as far as hindsight,we ALL thought we would see a healthy Oscar,and even BEFORE the fight the announcers talked about how he looked flushed,hell Freddie Roach even saw the IV marks on his arm.

Oh wait we have to pretend Oscar was a beast and pretend he did not take this fight just for the money I forgot!

Man, it don't matter that your questioning it. Many hardcore fans believed Oscar was a skeleton after seeing him at the weigh in, and expected Manny to do what he did.

Pac's win over Oscar is better. He went up 3 divisions from March to December and that is the deciding factor.
