Wlad has to be considered the better win...but I think Ortiz 1 would have KOed AJ.

Wlad by miles. And most boxing fans obviously agree that Fury beat a better Wlad then AJ did, and obviously Fury beat Wilder.

Hence Fury > AJ + Wilder

The Fury fight and the Joshua fights were completely different fights. I think the Joshua version of Klitschko was physically about 90% of what the Fury version of Klitschko was. But the Klitschko that did fight Joshua was mentally in a much better place. I think Joshua did fight the better Klitschko overall.

That being said Joshua also got put on his ass and had to make it a huge war to pull out the win. Ofcourse Joshua vs Klitschko was more fun then Klitschko vs Fury.

But Fury completely shut out Klitschko. In my opinion it was Klitschko that failed to make it a fight. It was Klitschko that initiated a lot of the clinching to his own detriment.

That’s not even a knock on Klitschko he has left his huge mark on boxing. But it was just a matter of Old lion vs Young lions. Passing of the torch.

I rate both Fury’s and Joshua’s win pretty high. Although they were very different I rank them about the same.

But in the end he knocked em out, and i need proof Jennings was worse, it happened right after the Wlad fight, and Jennings was ranked when it happened. Did better than Joyce too.

As a matter of fact, Jennings was like 36 against Joyce

Nobodies saying Ortiz has a good resume at all, it's nothing to write home about, but it's a bit of a strange comparison of common opponents

All said and done, that's a view of things I can respect.

I think if anything I rate Joshua's win a fraction higher, but there's not very much in it.

Yeah I'd agree with that. Ortiz is one of the extremely rare opponents of The Dosser who actually possesses skills, that's why they hype him up like he's a prime SRR.

Klitschko was a Champion Ortiz never was.

It’s like Felipe Massa or Eddie Irvine in F1 or The Netherlands national football team. The talent is there, the resources are there, the opportunity is there, but somehow they never win that World Championship. Same with Ortiz.

AJ over Wlad is a more valuable win, and a far better fight.

Wilder had to have his personal ref and doctor to help him secure the w against grandpa Ortiz. AJ dug deep to get the win.... likely aided by Wlad taking his foot of the gas, but it's still a late KO win over the former long time HW king in a very competitive fight.

I know what you are saying. I expected AJ to win after what i saw from Wlad v Fury, however i thought the Wilder Ortiz fight was close it was a case of Ortiz jabbing his head off for 12 or Wilder equalizing him. AJ over Wlad is definately the more meaningful win there's no debate on that, but is it really that much of a better win considering where all 4 were in their careers? I think its closer than most are saying.

I was more impressed with the Netherlands national team reference since they actually have won a major title.
