Better win. Calzaghe over Hopkins or Floyd over Oscar

Not to mention that Calzaghe did it away.

Even in Wales it would have been the superior win though.

 

I'd say Calzaghe's win over Hopkins, cuz Hopkins went on to handle Pavlik and win another title when he beat Pascal. Oscar struggled at times in a fight against Forbes then was taken apart by Pacman.

 

I thought Bhop won, so the only answer is Floyd over Oscar

Wasn't Hopkins ranked P4P number 3 when Calzaghe beat him?

 

Calzaghe's win over Hopkins is pretty damn good imo.

Moving up in weight.
Fighting on foriegn soil, something he gets lamented for not doing too often.
Past prime and no longer able to punch properly.
Hopkins was P4P top 5 but past prime. Went on to achieve a couple more great feats.

Mayweather's win is solid.

Moving up in weight.
Mayweather was still within his prime with regards to skill and physique.
Mayweather fighting above prime weight (as was Oscar)
Hoya was pretty much semi retired.

I can conclude that Calzaghe has the superior victory.

 

Mayweather over Oscar by far and away. Oscar was coming off a great win over Mayorga and the hype for this one was over the roof. That and the fight turned out to be far more competitive than people anticipated.

Hopkins was 44 years old and almost inactive for one year fighting some unknown from Wales.
