What was more impressive a KO over Cotto by Margs or a KO win over Hatto by PBF Cotto being the bigger stronager fighter id have to go with the Cotto KO I still think Cotto would murder Hatton
Margarito's ko was sick to watch actually especially when they showed the replay or cotto 's face looking like he was in the movie gladiator,i know for a fact that watching that replay had cotto fans very emotional.I like cotto as a fighter and it hurt me inside to see him take a beating like that and the sad thing is,it was worse, than the beating trinidad gave to vargas.Cotto will never be the same and i say let him and cintron fight, because i think that fight would be just as good.
Bases on how Lascano hurt Hatton I think any chump @140 can hurt Hatton. Cotto was more impressive to me because although he has been hurt in the past he has always recovered immediately and always came back with a fight.
The threw in the towel to stop the inevetibale TKO or KO wich is more impressive when you make the other corner throw the towel in
Hatton has always been pretty hittable, and has been ready to go a few times. Certainly more so than he looked in the Mayweather fight - and it could be said that Cortez caused him to lose his head and open up. The following have had Hatton on ***** street Gilberto Quieros Jon Thaxton Eamon Magee Vince Phillips Luis Collazo Juan Lazcano Mayweather didn't really have him on ***** street until the fight was over, the others had him ready to go but he used his survival instincts to stay in there - something which Cotto could have used when Margo was getting into him.
Floyd's. Partying the **** down and watching that turnbuckle **** happen live was the ultimate insult. It almost looked like he planned it to go down that way haha. :rasta
margaritos KO was may more impressive because the skill level was much closer. there is no one that is even near money's level, so you will never see a KO that is that impressive with him becuase hes that much better than everyone..
Just ask yourselves how long Hatton would have lasted against Margarito and you will have your answer.
Well - as far as legacy goes, Cotto was the more untoppleable. Cotto may not ever get that mental edge over his opponents again. Kinda like Tyson, once he was beat, people stopped being so mentally shook by him. They knew that they could beat him so they were mentally in it. Hatton, while being a good fighter, was never viewed as a monster. So Margo debunked a myth and slew a monster, while PBF knocked out a fighter who hadn't yet been knocked out. MArgo 1: PBF 0 in this one.
