Better Win: Mayweather against Mosley or Pacquiao Against Dela Hoya?

So you're telling me, Margarito beats Mosley if he's in this so-called mythical right state of mind? Tell me clown, in what way was Margarito unfocused. Tell me what type of punch he wasnt using. Tell me how he would have gotten out of the way of MOsleys punches had he been in the right state of mind, you know with his incredible defense

And the DLH that Pacquiao fought had 1 fight in 2 years and needed IV's put in his arm before the fight, and weighed less then the lightweight he was fighting. YOu dont see the difference *******? One was a healthy male fighting at his best weight, the other was the walking did. Its not that hard really if you use your brain dumby.

it's just half the story. mosley fought a mentally defeated margo. floyd fought an inactive mosley. you can call that excuses but you can't deny it is true that is why you are mad. it is the same type of excuses used to bring down oscar as pac's accomplishment.

 

if it is just me, both are great victories regardless of the circumstances. but this is ESB and guys will find excuses for great victories no matter what.

It's really hard to choose between the two.

 

Don't forget the historical significance of Pac's fight. All of a sudden Pac was being discussed with ATGs like SRR and Henry Armstrong. Even by Larry Merchant in the post fight, and he's not one to go overboard with giving credit to fighters. It's probably the fight which secured him Fighter of the Decade.

Mayweather's win was also great, but all it proved is he finally stepped up and beat a top welterweight. Pac's win far outweighs it in achievement.

This poll kind of proves the difference in shear number between pac fans and floyd fans.

I like both fighters but probably like pac slightly more than i like floyd. But this really is a no brainer.

Oscar was clearly clearly weight drained having not fought at 147 for 8 years. Mosley was coming off a good display against cotto and whooping margarito. And is a natural welterweight.

FLoyds win was CLEARLY CLEARLY CLEARLY better. The poll should have been cotto-pac or may-mosley that poll would be a close one IMO.

This one is a no brainer and i get the feeling a lot of pac fans just voted for pac-oscar just coz of manny. Sort it out people

Mayweather - Mosley is the better win imo, people are mad at Floyd but **** me.

 

Pacquiao went up two weight classes. But Roach made De la Hoya come down a weight class, a weight class he hadn't been at in a good number of years. It's not as one-sided as Pacquiao went up...

 

This implies that Margarito knew that he was cheating, and not just his trainer. At that point all he would have known is that his wraps had to be redone, and something was found...he didn't know for definite whether he was caught cheating or not (or did he?). I highly doubt that it would have effected him mentally during the bout...especially when he was allowed to continue with the bout.

No one knew that Pacquiao was going to outweight Oscar on the night! If the two fights were reversed with Pacquiao destroying Mosley and Mayweather humiliating a weight drained ODLH then the poll would read 99% in favour of Pacquiaos victory over Mosley.

Dont let your hatred of Mayweather or adoration of Pacquiao blind you!
