It does not matter if ODLH was the favourite going into the fight with Manny, it doesn't make his performance any better. If anyone wasn't prepared mentally it was ODLH he went into that fight knowing he was struggling to make the weight and was draining himself in doing that. The day after the weigh in ODLH weighed in again to show what his fighting weight was, and he actually lost weight. In that time the fighters rehydrate, while ODLH lost weight. Mosley was coming off the destruction of Margarito, while ODLH was coming off a decision win over a C-level fighter in Steve Forbes. The Mayweather win was far more impressive, he was badly rocked in the 2nd then came back and dominated Mosley for the rest of the fight.

Kind of split on this. I think pacquiao's win will be remembered as the better win since he was such a big underdog and having to move up two weight divisions even though hoya was shot. But on the other hand Mayweather's victory came from a top p4p boxer even though he was well past prime. So i would vote tie if there was an option..

there probaly about the same but if i had to vote im going with FLoyd vs Mosley simply because people swore Floyd was scared of Mosley, wouldnt fight him, would run from him, also questioned his heart...he showed us a lot in that fight.

While i'll admit i did not think Pac would stand a chance against Oscar simply because of the size i thought would be relevant...the size simply wasnt and Oscar actually hur tht efight more by coming into the fight in such terrible condition.

So if i had to pick one using hindsight....gotta go with Floyd vs Mosley a better win, Mosley was comming off two KO's...Oscar hadnt looked good period.

    Lol at the results.

#1 ww, or a punch bag, which one is better.

  7. "This was a fight that should have been won. Oscar was able achieved a great physical condition during his training. I am a witness that he did not have problems with his weight and he was not dried out from the vapors [of a sauna]. During that time he had a nutritionist by his side who took charge of his weight and diet. But at the time of the fight he couldn't do things well. He couldn't deal with the versatility of Pacquiao," Nacho said.

Pac's win over DLH was more impressive for the following reasons:

    1. No one gave him a chance to win it; some even called it a circus.
    2. DLH cherry-picked Pacquiao as a fitting end to his career.
    3. Pac's evolution as a boxer-puncher was visible for all to see, particularly
    during the first few rounds.
    4. The magnitude of dominance at the end was outstanding.
    5. DLH's No Mas after the 8th round made the victory even sweeter.

what did you want them to say? nobody wants to use excuses man....you know that...but i guess your going to sit here and honestly say Oscar was healthy that night?

Im not even taking anything away from Pac's win....but if your going to say Mosley is shot and gassed in two..which im sure you have....no way you sit here and say Oscar 7 years removed from 147......just as shot as mosley came in that fight healthy.....even Roach said Oscar looked bad.

why would you need to hype the fight?

it was alreay the biggest fight that could be made at the time other than Pac/Floyd.

U sure it was just hype?
