Better win: Mayweather MD12 Canelo or Crawford UD12 Canelo

Mayweather. Old Mayweather vs young Canelo.
Mayweather completely schooled Canelo. Made it look easy.

 

I’m a huge Canelo hater, but he was very green when Mayweather got to him.

 

This version of Canelo is bigger, but is he really that much better ?0

 

This Canelo version isn't that good. Worn down and more one dimensional. Plus, old guy vs young guy and the old guy won (Floyd)

 

Neither of these fights took place near Canelo's peak. As such, I can't rank one over the other.

 

Mayweather school young Canelo at a catchweight and rehydration clause. Older Bud UD Canelo and moved up 2 weight classes to do so w/ no weight stipulation.

Win over Young Canelo Vs win over old Canelo, but Crawford beat old Canelo after jumping up 2 weight classes, still being older himself, and winning the undisputed championship from him.

 

Canelo has been looking a bit shopworn. Plus, Mayweather won by a larger margin in spite of what the cards said. So, he edges it even though this is still a hell of a win for Bud.

 

Do you think Floyd would have lost to THIS Canelo, with that speed and cement feet? I see him washing him.

 

This win, more experienced, non-catchweight Canelo and Crawford fought less negatively than Mayweather.

 

Floyd was too scared. People get upset when talking about this topic, but Floyd was risk-aversive. He refused to fight Margarito, Manny 2009, Sexy Sergio, etc.
