Better Win: Pacquiao TKO 12 Cotto @ 145 or Mayweather UD Cotto @ 154?

If you will take fanboy-ism for aside and look at both fights from a neutral corner, it will be very obvious that Pac's win was way more impressive.
Pac didn't just blitz through Cotto. He took away Cotto's jab easily through his lead left. Easily.
Cotto looked defeated early on when he had absolutely no answers to Pac's assaults while failing to put anything on the fight that would pose as a problem for Pac.

If you factor in the fact that Cotto can't hurt Pac, was knocked down twice, was back-pedalling for his dear life on the remainder of the fight, and was ultimately TKO'd by somebody going up in weight and fighting his first legit WW in Cotto, the answer is blatantly obvious.

show me a pac win where the guy wasn't coming off a recent loss (usually a beating). Good luck with that task. (except marquez, these fights were very close and it's clear these are pacs best wins for me) and maybe bradley altho he did lose this.. but it's clear he won

 

The Mayweathers wanted no part of the Pac that destroyed Cotto, that`s why they disgracefully decided to smear him instead.

I think the Pac that fought Cotto would beat any version of Mayweather and the money team knew it.

I know you must be a ***** since you are just copying what Mayweather has said. Cotto was 1 pound less (145 pounds) than he was against Manny than he was against Clottey (146 pounds).

I hope you discredit Mayweather when he beats Canelo since he will not be at his natural weight since he is coming in under 2 pounds less than his last fight.

This is boxing everybody eventually takes a loss for me the difference is there was 3 YEARS between Pac-Cotto and May-Cotto, in a 1 year timespan Cotto was destroyed by Margo and Pac and in most opinions lost to Clottey.

Again I don't think anyone is saying Cotto was such a beast at 154 but how can you with a straight face argue that Margarito I,Jennings,Clottey is SOOO much better than Foreman, Mayorga,Margarito II. I'm no fan of Yuri Foreman but he was the FIRST REIGNING CHAMP Cotto ever fought, hell didn't Pacquaio duck Foreman a Current JMW title holder to fight an UNRANKED coming off a KO LOSS and suspension Margarito for a fake 154 belt in 2010 because style wise Margo was easier.

Visually Pac-Cotto was a more ENTERTAINING fight because Pacquaio's style is to go all out, him being there to be hit makes for a more back and forth battle. Mayweather just embarrasses fighters, he basically hits them with every punch in the book and is gone before they can blink he's more DOMINANT in his victories as far as who beat the BETTER version I feel it's May.

if a bloody nose off of two jabs is the worse you've looked in a pro fight in 17 years your doing pretty good Pac's bloody in every fight. And again the ONLY REASON May-Cotto happen was because of don't know who to call, not trying to negotiate,stadium,cut no 50/50 then only 50/50 act.

Marg would have wiped the floor with Foremans smashed up face, if Foreman was so good where is he now? Who did he fight after Cotto?

Pac fought Marg not because it was an easier fight, but because it was one of the biggest fights that could be made at the time, the fight was in Houston for a reason, the Mexicans came out to support Marg..
Who gives a **** about Pac vs Foreman? I would have been a brutal early KO.

 

I'm not going to claim that Pac ducked Foreman but I can guarantee you there are articles from Team Pac talking about this very subject something about styles makes fights the perception is Pac eats up guys who like to fight like Marg, MAB and struggles vs guys like Marquez, Bradley.

And since you want to bring up Santos, he was a 2 Weight World Champ which is greater than anything Margarito has ever done. He also beat him twice.

Finally not to come off some type of way but Latinos are the most ravenous fan bases, they'll support anything wearing there particular flag, why the hell else do you think Ortiz was suddenly a "Young,Hungry,Lion" after beating Berto, and Alvarez is currently the next hope after almost losing to his first real competition.

If you can't understand that think about it like this Mayweather-Pacquaio is the "biggest" fight to be made in boxing but CURRENTLY both Marquez II or Bradley are both better opponents/fights the difference is everyone wants to see Pac-May no one wants to see May-JMM II/Brad fights.
