Better Win - Schemling beating Louis or Buster beating Tyson

    Louis was considered a future champion in the making when he got KOed. Tyson was already considered by many to be one of the greatest heavyweights in history by the time he smashed up Spinks.

    Good question. I think on paper Douglas. But I prefer Schmeling. Yes Louis wasn't a champion yet. But he was incredible

    I'd rather have a win over prime Joe Louis on my resume than a win over end of prime drugged up Don King Mike Tyson. However the more unexpected win goes to Buster Douglas.

    I think Douglas's win is the bigger upset. Max Schmeling was a former heavyweight champion when he beat Louis, Buster was considered more of a fringe contender.

    What do you mean by most? Seems about even the number of people picking Douglas or Schmeling.
