Who had the better wins on their resume? Primo da Gawd, or Vitali the Invincible?

Why? Is it funny to continually bring up Carnera? An inside joke? Don't you get tired of it? Constantly. Like a child.

Carnera beat Jack Sharkey, tommy loughran and ernie Schaaf. Was the undisputed heavyweight champion.
Vitali beat Chris arreola, corrie sanders, china chin herbie hide and 100 years old Larry Donald and an old Briggs who even at his best was an "OK" fighter.
If you think Jack Sharkey, Tommy loughran and ernie Schaaf were better than every opponent Vitali beat, then it has to be Da gawd. Otherwise, the invincible takes it.
Carnera has a slightly better record IMO.

This should be an easy question to answer.

Look up where Jack Sharkey, Tommy Loughran and Ernie Schaaf are ranked on the all time list , then look up where Sam Peters , Arroela and Sanders rank.

Then you will have your answer

    I would have to agree.

Having said that, VK is better than his record suggests.

Adamek, Solis, Peter, Chisora, Arreola, Gomez....I’ll stop there as it’s to many to name. They’d either beat Primo or at worst give him a run for his money.

There’s also the elephant in the room which is that Primo would not be competitive with Lewis.

What wee their rankings, and how to they stack up against Carnera's opposition.
That is a bit of an irelephant in the room.

We are talking about who has the better resume, not who is better head to head!

Vitali by far. He won on his own merits. Didn't need to poison anyone in the locker room who wouldn't take a dive.

Carnera's win over Sharkey is the only result that could shade Vitali.

How much actual value one wants to place on that win is up for debate.

(Some might want to consider Primo's win over Loughran as a great win for him too.)

Collectively, I think Vitali has slightly more wins over ranked opposition, none of which were particularly great but, equally, none of which involved a weight advantage of 84lbs.

It's hard to find a good win between them.
