If we're talking specifically boxing, Pacquiao fights more frequently, is much more active in the ring and displays better stamina. His stamina is so impressive that many Floyd fans accuse him of being on EPO. For any of those to vote for Mayweather would be utterly hypocritical.

Not to mention, Manny is also a Congressman, actor, singer and philanthropist in his country. The answer here really is obvious, and yet most of you are getting it wrong.

When will FLoyd ever face a serious offensive WW who is conditoned to go 12 rounds and is not well past his prime without getting hurt ?

You cannot get repsect being a WW from 2005-2011 without facing the likes of Cotto, Clottey and Manny. None past their prime all regarded as very very tough tests all bring something dangerous to the table.

It depends on how you define "work ethic".

I think that over the course of a year, that Mayweather would spend more time in the gym.

But all that Pac manages to accomplish despite having so many other commitments, would suggest that - come training time - he has the superior work ethic.

Pac spends less time in the gym, to have arguably more incredible results. Just his increase in ability since training under Roach is phenomenal.

Quantity of time in the gym = Floyd.
Quality of time in the gym = Pac.

Hard to say, both train hard but I'd go with Pacquaio as he seems to have far more intensity and I'm a Mayweather fan. I think both have very different routines though so somewhat of an apples and oranges scenario

Imo mayweather trains harder. I've never seen mayweather tired in a fight. People say Pac fights full go everytime and mayweather fights in spurts but he didn't look tired against hatton. I've seen Pac tired agaisnt morales and marquez.

Pac - "If you train hard for the fight, then you win the fight"

Mayweather - "When you're sleeping im working, when you're working, guess what....im still working"

Do you guys ever get tired of talking about the same two fighters? Comaparing them in every way possible yet they haven't fought so there will never be a winner to the discussion?
    Give it up already.

Floyd, by half a mile. I never seen floyd out of shape. Floyd, lives for the gym as well.
