Betting Alert: Tszyu vs Thurman

Nobody is beating Tim Tszyu I don't care if his name is Muhammad I'm hard Bruce Lee. You can't beat him.

 

Yep. Tszyu in two that's my bet.

 

Thurman has not fought in 2 years, I'd be shocked if he were to beat Tszyu and I assume those odds reflect the fact Thurman seems to be basically coming out of retirement for this fight.

 

Yeah how good Thurman still has left is a real unknown here. He was top shelf before all this inactivity and Tim has passed all the tests put in front of him and looked great doing it, so who knows.

 

Thurman is shot and inactive. +600 is fine IMHO.

 

I’d be picking Thurman if it were a sensible period after the pac fight. But I think the inactivity will show.

 

I think it's important and responsible to look at the "other factors".

1. Thurman is retired. He has only had one fight in the last 4.5 years.

• Obviously not dedicated to boxing
• Major ring rust
• Past his prime, possibly shot

2. Thurman is a welterweight fighter not a Jr.Middleweight.
3. Thurman has shown he's vulnerable to the body, and he was also almost KO by a natural Super Lightweight Lopez.
4. Thurman is pushing 40 years while Tszyu is a young 29.
5. Thurman has only weighed in at the 147 limit once in the last 10 years. He always weighs 145 or 146.

I think someone in Tszyu's camp said, let's look for the worst fight possible and let's make it.

 

Thurman should be +2600.

He has almost zero chance.

 

Thurman is nothing special

 

Tim is going to batter Thurman. It will be competitive until Tim lands and Keith will take a knee and eventually be stopped.
