For those not familiar with betting odds, here's a quick and easy explanation.

If you choose 7-3 to favor Calzaghe, that means that if both of them were to fight each other 10 times, Calzaghe will win 7 of them, and Hopkins will only win 3 of them.

If you choose 2-8 to favor Hopkins, that means that if both of them were to fight each other 10 times, Calzaghe will only win 2 of them , and Hopkins will win 8 of them.

Those aren't betting odds, ya moron.

    Betting odds would go:

    Evens.
    2/1
    5/2
    3/1
    7/2
    4/1
    etc

    You're asking a different question.

At this point in time, I'd favour Calzaghe 8-2. BHop's only chance is if Calzaghe damages a hand. Unfortunately this is always a possibility for Calzaghe and especially with the extra power in his fists at Light heavyweight.

    Betting-odds-wise Calzaghe is a 2.5 to 1 favorite. Realistic-odds-wise, Calzaghe is a 100 to 1 favorite.. or 99-1 if you're using your system.

The last time Hopkins was an underdog was against Tito.

Calzaghe 4-1 would be realistic ....33-1 draw...

    Then:
Hopkins (39-2-1) was 36 years old and facing a 28 year old undefeated (40-0-0) welterweight (147lbs) champion.

    Now:
    Hopkins (48-4-1) is 43 years old and facing a 36 year old undefeated (44-0-0) super-middleweight (168lbs) champion.
