Does anybody know if the "slap" at the weigh influenced the bookmakers ?

    Hope so.

Went to put £350 on Vitali yesterday and was told I'd only make a £29 profit!

Even though Chisora has <5% of winning, I wouldn't bet that much for that amount of profit.

Brits get hyped up and throw money on chisora causing the odds to change.

I'm not suggesting they would, but from a personal point of view i had Vitali winning by KO/TKO between rounds 8-10,whilst i don't think he's going to be reckless/careless i do think he'll try and finish the job earlier afters yesterdays debacle.

There's no way that slap would affect his game plan. First of all Vitali is 100% professional as proven already and he's very calm in the ring. He will slowly break him down and if a KO comes then it does, otherwise he would never go reckless. I hope for a KO though somehow I feel Chisora will cruise without doing much to go the full 12 like the "Kingpin" did.

They bet with their heart rather than with their mind.
Dont know if you bet but remember germany vs England for the world cup, so much money was made that day because the English put a lot of money on their nation making them favourites.
Same with the odds for a pac ko vs hatton it went up to 2.5 on fight night or something like that.
If you got a team like manchester playing madrid or barcelona the odds will go up on the day of the game because they put cash on their team cause they want them to win.
Im pretty sure it was the same for hatton vs floyd, I didnt bet a lot back then so I dont know.

Vitali was 1/16 yesterday on Bet365 and now he is 1/14, pretty minimal but it reflects his chances of winning reducing slightly.
