The simple rule tends to be that the boxer wins the rematch because they can adapt to their opponent better. Therefore, Fury schools Wilder like he did today, with NO knockdowns. Unfortunately, Wilder is in a dilemma. He won't want Joshua for obvious reasons (He gets slaughtered in that fight, today showed it), and Fury is now far too risky. What we found out today is that Wilder and Fury are no match for AJ. Wilder has nothing to beat AJ with. And even though Fury does have the ability to edge a decision against a hugely improved AJ, he doesn't have the chin to withstand the vicious combinations of AJ.
I think Wilder KTFO Joshua. Fury displayed amazing capacity, for a man his size, to avoid many quick sharp punches from Wilder. Joshua does not have those skills and therefore will get hit much more often by Wilder, resulting in a Wilder KO win. Styles in play there...
I'd actually bet on Fury in a second fight (refused to do so in the first). Je's more skilled and with much higher ring IQ. I expect him to make the adjustment better. Not to mention he'd have more time and probably bigger motivation to whip himself into an even better shape.
You're seeing it from just one side. The problem for Wilder is AJ hits far harder than Fury, Wilder got hit a lot, so therefore he can be hit, others have hit and hurt Wilder, Fury isn't a wizard and the only man to land on Wilder and Wilder isn't Willie Pep. Wilder is vulnerable, let's not forget, Wilder was in more trouble against Ortiz than Dave Allen was against Ortiz FFS. if AJ is hitting Wilder he isn't getting up.
Well there's 2 problems here. 1. You guys have no logic. 2. You don't live in houses , everyone knows Wilder fans dwell in bug infested ghetto apartments.
Wilder can work on his stamina, for example. But so can Fury as well, who should be also better conditioned in the rematch. It should be a relatively close fight, definitely not worthy betting a house on.
Wilder was not particularly worried about Furys 'power'. Wilder is faster than Joshua and I believe would take his head off. Time will hopefully tell.
He was worried enough by Fury's power to give up in the 12th after getting countered. He needed the KO to win and didn't go for it after getting tagged, so he was definitely worried about Fury's power.
You got more chances of Fury coming back better than Wilder. Fury came back from 400lbs. He suffered depression and was taking drugs. This time he could easily get in even better fighting shape. He's had the rounds and wouldn't have to be in such a huge caloric deficit to be in fighting shape. Wilder came in his best shape, Fury didn't, it's just that Fury is the better boxer and Wilder knows that. You'll see Wilder try and go down the Joshua route. Both Joshua and Wilder don't want none of Fury now. I bet Bellew is also counting his lucky stars he never fought Fury LOL
Many sites offer Draw No Bet odds, the catch is that you get slightly worse odds than the regular three-way. In fact they are set-up such that you'll always lose money if you back both fighters.
