Between ANGEL COTTO and JOY MAYWEATHER who do you like better? All things considered.

PPL just hating on Mayweather, I really dont kow why.

For me I like both. I remeber watching Mayweather on friday night fights and TNT boxing in 1998 and stuck with him ever since because he was so talented. im Boricua so once I saw Cotto on wensday night fights in 2001 I was hooked, based on the body shots he used to throw and by then Trindad was still the **** but we ricans needed somebody else to root for, for back up.

The only problem I got is PPL saying Mayweather ducked Cotto, or Cotto would beat the hell out of Mayweather, ITS A JOKE!! sometimes we ricans think we cant never lose or we the best. Cotto is the **** and I hope he gets passed Clottey but everybody be talkin like hes a great boxer, my boy has been hurt so many times its crazy, imn actually surprised that he was undefated so long. I still like both and hope one day they fight but I dont think its gonna happen

 

I wanna see someone get KTFO...Cotto

Also style wise I prefer Cotto as well, very versatile, he can walk you down or outbox u, but gets hit enough to always keep it exciting

 

Cotto b/c he is boxer/puncher. His style is very exciting. If he knows he can walk through u, he'll just do it. He knows how to adjust in the ring. Of course he has flaws, but overall I like him better. The personality also has a lot to do with it. I dont like talkers.

While I do think Floyd is overall a better fighter, I still like Cotto more.

 

Mayweather is by far my favorite fighter. But I dont mind Cotto. He's a good boxer, and has alot of power. Not a 1 dimensional brawler.

 

I voted for Cotto. He fights who his master tells him to fight. He is also concerned about his opponents' feelings which is why he doesn't trash talk them(I'm sure the fact that he's not fluent in English has nothing to do with it). Despite his marital issues, alchohol binges, and his fight with his uncle that put his uncle in the hospital, Cotto is a role model for young kids who is the model of professionalism.

Meanwhile, Floyd is a cherrypicker who doesn't respect the feelings of his opponents.:-( Like my mom always said, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". I wish Mayweather's mother would have tought him the same.:verysad His constant flaunting of his "flashy" lifestyle also makes me dislike him. I drink my hatorade every morning and it burns me up to see someone else have **** that I don't have.:twisted: I constantly hope and pray that Floyd takes some type of loss. I don't care if it's in the ring, if it's in the form of him going broke, or if he just gets hit by a bus. Goddamn Mayweather, he really grinds my gears.

On a serious note, I like Mayweather better but I have no problem with Cotto.

i see what your saying but wont you agree that he takes a much better punch at 147.ok judah stunned him a lil bit but he was'nt really hurt.he took some good shots from mosley in their fight.anyway ive been following his for awhile and at 140 he was really hurt in some of those fights.but at 147 he's a different fighter than he at 140.
