Its obviously Floyd to the unbiased observer. Floyd brings more capital and more controversy that boxing desperately needs to draw in fans. I mean Pacquaio cant even speak good english, his fights are exciting but he's not a crossover star like Floyd became towards the end of his P4P reign.

Pacquiao is the better fighter. If you mean p4p face of boxing as in for the media and popularity of the sport then its PBF hands down because he's controversial, flashy and american while Pacquiao is asian, barely speaks english, and not controversial at all.

I voted Pac because in the initial post you ask who is the better p4p champ.

style fight for most who want lots of action of course Pac

but i actually in enjoy the b-hops, the winky's, and floyds who are along side the more technical side.

PBF though with oscar and Hatton and the world buzzing about boxing i mean they were just spectacular fights as far as media wise we got the first 24/7 series which is a great series i have enjoyed all of them so far....but that came about with floyd Oscar then Hatton Floyd(which actually was a great fight even action wise).....did floyd need oscar and Hatton damn str8 but they needed him too. You want a guy who is boastful and unbeaten right now in boxing because they lure those who still only know of Sugar Ray Leonard or ali or Mike Tyson.....RJ came along unbeaten and boastful but packed seats because people wanted to see the flash and if he would lose and i think its the same for Floyd.

Ali was exciting even as a "fool" who challenged Liston for the HW crown.

the perfect face for boxing is a cross between the two.

take pac's fighting style and attitude outside the ring (sense of humor, humility) then add it to pbf's charisma, looks, English communication skills and ability to transcend boxing and you've got a poster boy

as much as i dont really care for him....mayweather.

he gets peoples attention, sells lots of ppvs, and is more of a household name (atleast here in the u.s.) than pacman.

now, i cant speak for the rest of the world, but boxing has really fallen in popularity, and mayweather was its best chance to keep afloat.

i like pacman, as a fighter and a person, but he just doesnt rally people around, or against him like floyd does.

The Catholic vs the Wanksta.....Pac for God, Country and glory ......PBF if it dont make dollars it dont make sense.....Pac singing like a square on Kareoke.....PBF rolling around on a scooter with 50 cent....

Pac goes up to challenge DLH and Hatton...... PBF retires and doesnt face Margo or Cotto
Pac about to tangle with Hatton......PBF trying to get Marquez to jump two weight divs and face him at 147.....the choice is clear....

as much as id like pacman to be the face of boxing, people dont seem to give a flying **** about how good a person is, and would much rather watch someone be an ass.

the klitschkos are a good example. theyre very humble, educated, and generous. they even ko people, which is what hws are supposed to do. but does anybody who doesnt follow boxing or live in germany/ukraine know who they are? hell no.

face it, fighters with loud mouths and ring antics get peoples attention.

pbf is technically better but is not a good character example for kids and fans who want to see their idols achieve great things in their careers while not being considered a fool in the process.

pac on the other hand provides a better example of being P4P because he was able to back up his achievements by solid character examples.

really pbf is good but the way he shoots his mouth off like some rambling goat pisses off a lot of fans me included.
