Where have you seen that my understanding was Stephen Espinoza wouldn't work with Arum

espinoza and gbp made the mares agbeko rematch on free tv the same day as the margo-cotto 2 ppv. arum asked espinoza to change the date, arum got the finger, showtime has not given any date to tr since.

espinoza has essentially banned tr fighters on showtime...that's almost a year and a half ago.

No TR is getting shut out on purpose by Showtime. You can look it up on YouTube. Before one of his cards at the starting of the year (or maybe in December) Arum was going ape-**** for Ellie secback or one of those guys at a media workout about Showtime not ever returning his phone calls and intentionally shutting him out.

The guy running showtime is Oscar's former lawyer. Trust me there is some serious ****** business going on with GBP and hayeman right now.

I agree with those saying that showtime and GBP will have a great run over the next couple of years....however its not a longterm plan. They are basically making themselves a one trick pony. Basically are now only in the building up opponents for floyd to fight business. The only card they have to sign fighters right now is going to be the fight for cheap against ridiculously dangerous/difficult opponents and if you make it to the top of the heap you can take your 2.5 to 5 mil and get a whoopin' from floyd. Not a bad game plan but if that industry runs dry then they'll have to go crawling back to HBO hat in hand....or else (without the floyd carrot to dangle in-front of fighters) they'll risk losing fighters to the other network. Of course at that point their obvious plan would be to have Adrian broner or Canelo take on Floyd's mantel....but we'll see how that works out. I have my doubts about Broner. If canelo can make it past trout sky is the limit for him. He's so naturally popular he could be like oscar and lose most of his fight big fights and still be box office....but he needs to get past the first hurdle or else it'll never happen.

Basically if you are not in the 140-154 lb wt class there is no reason to sign with GBP. They have nothing to offer you and they will soon have no dates for you fight on.

At some point in the near future they will "kiss and make up". There is too much at steak.

It's business, the highest bidder gets it. The more bidders, the more buyers, the better for the seller.
