BHOP wants to fight for the heavyweight championship?? Why dont you try and beat the best guy in your division, Dawson? He tried to make a fight with Ademek, whom Dawson beat, why? No question BHOP doesnt want a part of Dawson. He wants more glory, but via easy victory and cherrypicking ala Floyd. So glad Dawson is calling him out. Dawson needs to be more outspoken and get a spark going to bring more excitment around him as a boxer. Dawson would outwork/outbox him just like Calzag and BHOP knows it.

Why the hell would an ATG legend in Bhop duck a shaky-chinned zero-defence no-fanbase boring ass Dawson ?

Bhop would take him to school

Shaky chin and zero defense it's amazing he ever won a fight. A younger Bhop would school Dawson but not so sure of this version of Bhop.

Dawson doesn't sell tickets, is the simple answer. Hopkins has taken on the likes of Calzaghe and Pavlik recently, why would he duck Dawson? He's never ducked anybody. When Dawson gets a fanbase, maybe they can start talking.

well why not fight him? it'd be great legacy wise (makes him clearly the man at lhw and again shows he can handle the prime top dog at 45), there's not much risk of getting hurt (at least compared to even a lesser CW/hw), and it would sell reasonably enough. (would an adamek/bhop fight really sell all that much more?? rjj/bhop 2 had some questions about selling even before today).

the question is- what's Dawson doing going after a FORTY-FIVE year old after 2 fights with 2 other past their prime 40 year olds . All he's doing is going after most money/ least risk - a good business move but sucks for boxing . Dawson camp doesn't even want to hear Tavoris Clouds's name or Pascal.. the sport thrives when the best fight the best- fight prime cats in your own division. That's why Floyd Mayweather sucks ass- old fat slow Marquez, Baldomir, Gatti etc. But looks like Floyd can shut me and everyone else up as he gets closer to this Paq fight.

Dawson said he wanted to fight Pascal after he beat Johnson in November. He's actually Pascal's mando.

Hopkins vs Klitschkosthat would be fun.

If Hopkins were to lose to Dawson I don't think anybody would care at this point. I don't see it as a duck. But I can understand Dawson's anger as he would like to have Hopkins on his resume.

Id like to see Hopkins go for the heavyweight title if it vs the Klitchko brothers for entertainment value. But that is doing Dawson wrong.

People have seen the Pavlik-Taylor affairs and the Taylor-Hopkins affairs and, therefore, they got the beautiful 2 plus 2 equals four conclusion that Pavlik would take old man river outa there in short. Hopkins dominated the distance, side-stepped the fella for 12-3 minutes rounds, slipped jabs and scored with short, sneaky rights in between and leading left hooks... You think Dawson is more of a physical opposition at 175 than Pavlik presented at 170? Godamn, you're stupid. Not only Hop makes Dawson back away with power at 175 as he counters him with timing, positioning and sharpness... The only thang Chad or Bad Chad can do is 2 outwork him with numbers and winding punches a la Calzaghe...Cause Hops is not to be huffin and puffin and to throw sloppy arm punches to catch up with these youngsters... I would see Chad or Good Chad tryin hard to steal a fight and make it number one in the LHWTs thinkin B-Hop is one dimensional as Glenn or Antonio... Bernard takes Chad outa there, I'm tellin ya. Of course, Chad wants Hops cause there's no one left in the Ligh Heavies...

Hopkins should fight Dawson. He wont, and I dont blame him. Dawson would beat Hopkins and do so pretty bad.

I also understand why many wouldnt want to see that fight. A dominate win by Dawson would smash whats left of the ATG career of Joe Calzaghe which is the reason that some of the fans in the UK dont want to see the fight.

As far as Hopkins goes, I think that he could actaully pick up a heavyweight belt, the WBA. The Klit bros are just too big. But Hopkins isnt going to get a shot so Dawson make the most sense, unless Hopkins goes after a crusierweight belt. I think that Hopkins could beat them all, (WBC)Erdei, (WBA)G. Jones, or the (WBO)Huck/Afolabi winner, or even a vacate IBF title. I think that Cunningham is number 1 but Im not sure.
