I'm suprised Hops isn't calling for this.

When OLEG had the WBC belt, Bernard wanted to go get it...Valuev is an easier bout for somebody with legs than OLEG is.

I think OLEG would actually have scored some punches...Valuev would just look foolish missing everything.

Down with the WBA latest disgraceful fraud of a champion...

Hopkins-Valuev would be Pacquiao-DLH all over again.

(Hopefully, Golden Boy Promotions would win the purse bid so the fight could take place in the states.)

Bhop is just another mark in the win column for Clazaghe. To sugest he could win a heavyweight title is delusional. He simply is not good enough regardless of what his nuthuggers believe.l

If the fighters who have been reputed to have beaten him, have beaten him then yes B hop can also, what you forgetting is that the Russian Mafia has been scoring the fights and not normal boxing judges. Doh....

therefore Valuev has won all of his "close" fights.

B hop is another close fight.

He didn't. He just dashed in, landed a few punches and went out or clinched. Valuev was never impressed or respectful of Holyfield's power, nor any other heavyweight's power.

    Calzaghe?
    Way to be irrelevant.

Calzaghe is a P4P slick defensive southpaw - and Valuev is just a hairy slow victim of giantism.

    Apples and oranges.

it hop can take a heavyweight punch he would win this easily on ring smarts...

i sort of fancy him to take a UD to be honest once he works his cardio enough to avoid clinches or anything

in theory it could be, sure.

but in theory no-one expected holyfield to dictate things so easily against valuev.

that doesn't mean hopkins, who is clearly a much better boxer and tactician than valuev will ever be, can do the same thing.

its these sort of simple comparisons that create a world of hurt come fight night often.

I think this would be a great way for Bhop to go out win ior lose, I favor him in a Decision.

You guys are frightening me Valuev comes in in varying degrees of capability, against Ruiz his jab was steady an in good effective condition before that against Lyakovich he wasn't close an in Holyfield I haven't seen but clips. You good folk are makin my head spin sooooo hard. I think this probably sums pretty well the predjudice here for Hopkins.:admin
