BHop ducking Dawson? Hopkins: Chad not big enough name for me to fight

    Hopkins is avoiding Chad. However, he's damn near 44. Guys that age need to be picky.

    Well i guess but my in my eyes Chad Dawson is the number one contender he's been fighting Lightheavyweights and Bernard all ready lost to Joe, so if Bernard wants to fight Joe he should have to go thru Chad first.

    I agree. There's no real reason for Hopkins to fight Dawson. Yes, it's another name on the ledger but BHop doesn't need it and it doesn't really do a lot else for him, I think. At his age, he doesn't need to be chasing belts.

    Then if it's not Chad, he should just retire, Calzaghe won't give him a rematch and who else is out there that is a "big enough name"?

    Yeah, that's pretty much what BHop was saying, that he might just hang them up because there's really no one (i.e., Calzaghe) big enough who wants to fight him and he's not interested in fighting Dawson.

    I don't blame him though, at this stage of his carrier Chad would beat him.
