Hopkins didn't start getting paid until he was in he late 30's. Mayweather has been receiving 7 figure and larger purses for the last 8-10 years. Do you see the difference? If B-Hop was getting those type of paydays at a young age like Mayweather, he wouldn't still be fighting right now. I don't care what type of shape Mayweather's body is in, he won't be fighting into his 40's unless he runs into money trouble.

This is not even close to the truth.

Floyd has always has excellent speed and reflexes, but by no means were they his best attributes. Floyd is a technically proficient boxer who has been able to outthink every single person he has faced. That is his real gift. If his body held up, Floyd would be able to continue in boxing for many, many more years.

So did Roy. If Mayweather was to lose his legs 90% of what he does would go out the window. He would look kinda like James Toney did when he was past his best. A stationary target that could still counter well off the ropes.

Hopkins has said himself that he feels he is now getting "backpay" for the years he felt he was underpaid.

Regardless, though, Hopkins actually loves every aspect of Boxing, whereas Floyd is more addicted to the fame. While Hopkins does his own tape-studying of not only his opponents but also historical fighters, Floyd leaves the tape-studying to his team. There's just a difference in perspective between the two.

Honestly, if he did, he would most likely just get f_cked up a whole lot.
Pernell declined alot when he was 33. PBF is very similar to Pernell.

Not really, their styles are very, very different, even if they are perceived similarly.

Thats how I know for a fact that PBF wouldn't be the same at 33.
