Hopkins is TOO good. Man, so many classic interviews from this guy. I LOVE when people ask for his Strategy. "Aw you askin', for my strat-e-jee?" He'll keep asking that until they answer him. Then he'll tell them why he's not revealing his Strategy.
Why the hell are Setanta Sports, the broadcaster of the fight in the UK, sending a sarcastic schoolboy wanker to the press conference. Setanta have a 24hr sports news channel but their coverage was negligible and **** on the day, and it looks like they only sent this tosser to the place. Fairplay to Bernard, looks like he's gonna be a Hall of Fame promoter as well as a boxer!!
Hopkins isn't a very brilliant speaker. Comes off as being half ******ed most of the time. I still remember when he was fighting Marvin Eastman (English), and BHop said during the press conference... "These fights aren't going to go like his fights in England. Now he has to come over to my country, and speak my language.":rofl
Howard Eastman, I think you meant? People place way too much stock in pre fight interviews and stuff anyway, Hopkins in that interview was just Hopkins being the same old Hopkins that we know and (some) love, same with Calzaghe in his interviews. Except Calzaghe is far gayer obviously, and he ****s sheep.
There are really some bhop nuthuggers around here, hopkins comes off sounding like a ****** in that interview. What the reporter said was a smartass comment but it was funny, all hopkins did after that was stutter and finally said you're not on my intelligent level :rofl Hopefully none of us are Bernard.
That smart mouth punk is lucky B-Hop didn't smack the taste out of his mouth. Nard was nice enough to grant that jerk an interview and he decides to get smart. It's all good though, Nard put that ***** in his place.
