Not literally, but if he hadn't bad mouthed Calzaghe before and after their fight, there would be a very real possibility now of Calz Vs BHOP in the Millenium Stadium with 70,000 fans watching live. The fact that he disrespected and displayed sour grapes after the fight and gave Joe no credit (whether he deserved it or not) has made a rematch unlikely as I genuinely think Joe detests the guy!RJJ has also said that hes sick of BHOPs 'Barking' too, perhaps if he had behaved more like he did against Pav, more humility etc there might be a mega money fight open for him! Its a shame as a rematch now would be really interesting imo.
Bull****...decisions of this magnatude are not henged on pre or post fight hype...Professions dont operate in that mannor. Dont be gullible...
Of course he was nice to Pav, he whooped him, there was no need to get mean, he did enough of that in the ring. Hopkins has trash talked everyone for years and has only accepted his loss to RJJ. It comes with the package. I dont think thats a viable reason to deny him a rematch. Either way, I dont think there is anything anyone can do to get Hopkins to stop talking. Also, if RJJ beats Calzaghe, then Hopkins is his only big fight option. I'd like to see him fight Dawson but a Hopkins fight is much much bigger in terms of interest.
