In terms of accomplishments and resumes, bhop is head and shoulders above Joe.

Joe's resume is filled with tomatoe cans and enjoyed home cooking advantage almost all his fights. Joe's biggest wins are against an old Eubank, overhyped Lacy who was a rookie champ and had potential but not a named fighter on his resume. Kessler was Joe's only good win and I had a draw with Joe vs Bhop. A 43 old bhop was taking Joe to school but was outslapped but a younger fighter who have been taking soft competition.

Bhop at least beat the peak primed Tito who was massive for a welter weight and still a terror at welter and jr. middle. Hell Tito is strong enough to knock most middle weights around. Beat another huge welter in Oscar. Both Tito and Oscar smokes everyone Joe has beaten. Not to mention Bhop went up two weight classes and dethrone the man at light heavy. Whether Tarver's movie weight loss has anything to do with it is another story. Bhop have also fought the dangerous taylor twice which i thought he won the first encounter and kept it very close on the second and about to fight Kelly Pavlik. Bhop have also beaten perhap one of the best jr. middle weighs ever in winky wright. Bhop have also fought and kept it close against a prime and peaking Jones which Joe would NEVER do.

Joe is not even on the same level as Bhop.

It's sad that we need to create a thread to point this out. The praise Joe gets around here is ludicrous.

wow its great to here such innovative and thought provoking originality in a thread AGAINST joe,its about time we had another i mean its only been .4 of a nano second since the last one,and can we keep this clean folks none of the "prison rules" the object of your affection has employed throughout his career please!

i mean this thread is integral to the forum and cannot be demeaned with such vulgarity,im sure the JC groupies will no doubt be absolute converts to the cause of hopkins's supposed greatness once this little gem has been disected and mulled over, sorry joe i no longer accept your greatness tliang says your not.

Let's not forget that most of them he beats are not considered tomato cans until Joe beats them...after beating Lacy, which he was not supposed to do, is a prime example of that nonsense ...anyone that ever fought Joe is called a tomato can by many on here...after he beats them that is :-:)fire

    yep, point taken. irrefutable.

    so...
jc is a somewhat smaller legend, but still a legend. his record is pretty good, and he seems to be willing to fight anyone. anyway...
what do you make of jc never having fought in north america for so long?
warren? lack of american interest? why was lacy the first american big(ish) fighter to fight joe?

Good post and maybe Joe's fans will read this and actually learn what the truth of the matter is, instead of letting Calzaghe brainwash them with his B-hop never fought anybody great or only beat small guys bull**** rants.

A Hopkins only slightly older than the one who so emphatically beat Tarver - loses to a Calzaghe moving up in weight for the first time by late tko.

If 5 minutes worth of cheating wasn't allowed in boxing.

After many years and countless debates of who duck who to hearing joe fanboys proclaiming Joe obvious overated career over and over. I had to tell them how it is. Especially I am hearing as far as if Tarvers wins then Joe owns chad bs and since joe beats bhop therefore is OBVIOUS that he will own tarver harder bs with him having no intention of actually proving it. As a loyal fan to the game i have to bring those nuthuggers back to reality. Joe has indeed took his career in the safest manner and now calls out shell legends and act like as if they were still in year 2000 or something. Like as if Joe has been trying his damnest to fight these legends.

Both can have arguments made in their case. But I agree that in terms of accomplishments and resumes, B-Hop takes it by a considerable margin. BTW I can't stand JC's windmill slaps either as alot of people on here post, but i still give him respect for his accomplishments.

Lacy has the Tyson appeal a big, powerful, and durable fighter but he never have the smarts to have me sold on him. The most I give lacy is potential greatness but he proved to be not so smart outside of his physical talent. Joe didn't ruin Lacy, he exposed lacy. And lacy did a great job to keep crashing after by struggling his next three fights and almost got upset by a journey men. Even if Joe gets the fullest credit for beating Lacy then OKay is still not enough. Joe wasted his career period and wants credit for it.

yes because coming from someone called canibus who talks of brainwashing will really help the cause.

why do you people constantly trawl up the same resume arguments and puerlie diatribe time after time, its way beyond predictable and shows how sensitive and defensive the convicts fans really are, your the ones constantly having to back up hopkin's demi-god status hence this thread,as a jc fan i can honestly say the thread is insignificant to me and has no impact on my estimation of him,oh i cant wait for november and the usual well jones was old calzaghes a ***** etc etc it will be such fum ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
