BHop lobbying for a fight with FMJ

    He mentioned it on Arsenio, I was watching this interview (long):

    and he mentioned it a number of times, saying they're gonna call the promotion 50-50, May wants 50 wins to break Marciano's record, BHop is 50, he's talking they put it in a stadium etc.

    Do you think he has any chance of getting that fight? I'd have said no some time ago, but I'd have said FMJ would NEVER have fought Canelo, so I don't know, maybe May WOULD fight him. But I doubt it, Canelo is a huge star, whereas I don't know that BHop is.

    People love Bernard more then ever right now. I just don't think mayweather wants any part of Bhop. If he won't fight PAC he's not gonna fight Bernard.

    At what weightclass would that be? I can't see Floyd winning above 168.

    Pointless fight for Mayweather. Hopkins doesn't even offer a belt at 160 to make this considerable. If Mayweather is moving to 160, I'd rather see him fight Martinez-Cotto winner.

    Its the dumbest idea for a fight Ive ever thought of.

    No ne gets any credit for this fight.

    If Floyd wins, hes beaten a drained 50 year old man

    If Bernard wins, hes beaten a guy hes 6 inches taller than and 30 lbs heavier than.

    Hopkins brings absolutely no fan base, i.e. money, to this fight and if Mayweather thought Maidana was a dirty fighter, he ain't seen nothing yet. Hopkins should challenge someone more his own size, like Ward, but that won't happen.

    If Bernard wins, he won by using his skills and vast ring experience.

    Height and weight differences becomes almost negligible in the ring if you spend the time boxing and not clinching.

    Mayweather will stay far away fro Hopkins.
