he didn't say he was better, all he said was he doesn't like flaunting his **** and that he's too old for that.
No joke. I seriously believe that Floyd pointing out every time and again that he is the smartest and the most skillful player in the game is a childish way to lower his opponents self esteem whereas Bernard consciously enrages them so that they lose their heads inside the ring and then pay for it. Bernard is like a cooler in a casino game, man... He has them pretty high and heated up and then cools them when they think they have the hot hand. Of course Bernard has nothing against PR or W boys but Floyd does really believe that he can't be outboxed ( and he can in my opinion).
i think bh was trying to establish that he was MUG not a thug who is getting played by the system because hes fallen hook line and sinker for the bs that goes with the fight game. i think hes saying that you can aspire to better things than this really weird insecure ****. not all black people are into this. just the thick twats.
Exactly. He's coming across like a jealous, bitter old man and not keeping business separate from personal. Maybe Floyd can teach him a thing or two about that.
Its obvious that you completely missed the point of Hop's answer and went straight into nutthugger mod to defend your man crush, this isnt a surprise to anyone who sees your nick and avatar or your posts that look like love letters to mayweather, thats why your opinion doesnt mean ****.
No, because of the way he is in just about every interview Ive ever seen or read. The guy is just a ***** & I dislike the way he thinks beating the shell of Roy Jones is gonna make them 1-1.... he had the chance to try for revenge in 2002 when both men were p4p 1 & 2 but he knew he`d get his ass spanked good & backed out until the time was right... 8 yrs later. Its bull**** & I hope Roy pulls out one last great performance & kicks the **** out of him, doubt it tho.
Thats not the hip hop culture. Hip hop culture began as a movement to educate and embrace our culture while expressing yourself musically. There are people in the hip hop culture who are doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc etc. And they have 401k plans, own homes and contribute to an IRA. Boasting about how much money you have etc is simply a person doing something he interprets as gansta. But its not what Hip Hop is as a culture. Its only a way to degrade the true roots and influence of what Hip Hop is.
LOL - hip-hop culture!!!! Good joke. We all know that hip-hop culture is the bastion of positive attitudes and image. And I love how many hip-hop artist love to portray th 'gangsta' stuff until they get called out on it. Then it is just 'selling an image' or 'racist'. ROFL.
Hopkins does NEED the money. If he were to retire later today, he would do so in the comfort that he is financially secure. I would bet he has put money aside for his daughter's education, etc. What Bernard says, about people not seeing his houses, not being on MTV crbis, him not flashing the cash, etc, its right. I'm a massive fan of Floyd's & I do hope when he retires, he will be financially secure, because fighters ending up broke as a joke is an all too familiar story! Interesting to hear Hopkins say Tyson was tricked out if it. Mike has to take some of the blame, but I do agree with Hopkins on that comment! Tyson was blatantly robbed by people around him. B-Hop lives in Delaware for tax reasons, so I think that shows he not an idiot!
