Is this from PBF's biography? Dude seriously - that is not just one excuse - that is one LIFETIME of excuses you made for him!!! What is next you are going to tell us that "probably" happened???? PBF does not need to be excused. He is a grown man and knows what he is doing. So what if he enjoys his money, to some people's eyes to a fault. Let it be. It does not bother him. You don't need to make this fictional BS of "probably" to excuse it. BHop's words, while poignant, is pointless for PBF.
I almost stopped reading there.... But I got curious to see what the hell you were getting at.. And you actually made some valid points. I won't go into an entire 1000-word dialogue to correct you, because this isn't the proper forum. Let's just say no one wha is knowledgable ever argues that Hip Hop started in Queens. And social conscienceness was just as much a part of early hip hop as was dancing and partying.
I agree with this to a point. Floyd has had all of the negative influences in his life. But it's time for him to take responsibility for his own life. What Bernard said is probably not going to affect him until it's unfortunately too late. Hopefully others in his life will begin to send him down the correct path.
NO on the social consciousness - rap started in house parties and local clubs. That is not even debatable. And about Queens - while I agree on the Bronx history of it, it is not an open and shut case. There are many that claims Queens started it. Damn. Hopkins tells the straight truth about lil boy floyd and what do his demented delusional huggers do? Apprecaite the wisdom of Bernard and recognize the merit of his advice? Of course not! They go right into attack mode on brother Hopkins. It's a shocking shame how far gone these floyd freaks really are. give em credit for standing loyal on a fast sinking ship though.
Hopkins makes lil boy floyd looks like a complete dunce with this helpful advice. imagine if floyd had to fight Hops and they were the same weight, same era? Hops would just eat him alive in the press conferences alone. and then in the ring too well, fraud would for sure duck a guy like Hopkins we know that.
You would be very dangerous if you knew what you were talking about. No one who was around in the 70's and 80's will agree with you about the case being open and shut. Queens didn't start ****. And as far as your point that is supposed to be "not even debatable".. :rofl:rofl Some of the first rappers from Melle Mel to Cool Herc and those guys rapped about social issuues. Public enemy in the late 80's and early 90's, while known more for it, was not even close to beginning it. This is the internet age. :good If you weren't there, which you obviously weren't, you could easily do some reasearch about some of the groups and the songs that people actually cared about back then. I'll give you a start... Cool Herc Afrika Bambaataa Melle Mel Divine Sounds Kurtis Blow Furious 5 Treacherous 3 Jekyll and Hyde Many many more... You sound like a guy who argued me up and down that Biz was a "1-hit wonder" based on some special on VH1.
B-hops very smart but i forgets that floyd behaviour sells himself. I was curious to wat b-hop thought of him as a fighter though, after not many people in the world no more about the game than b-hop and there are similarities in the ring between him and floyd.
