I'm just listening to a radio show and one of the callers asks the host "What's the matter with Bernard Hopkins?" and the host starts talking about when he said that he'd never let a white boy beat him. What did I miss??
Are you serious? This goes back before the BHop-Calzaghe fight. BHop said 'I'll never let a whiteboy beat me' to Calzaghe, I believe it was during the build up to the Mayweather-Hatton fight. BHop is a classless ignorant *sshole. Had Calzaghe said 'I'll never let a black boy beat me' my god could you imagine the repercussions? Whatever...
That's what the host referenced, it's not what the caller was referring to, obviously. Evalistinho, where did he say that? is there a vid or was it in print?
Oh my bad, I think I interpreted your post wrong. If you're meaning has he said anything controversial lately, they are probably refering to him saying the Pacquiao ducks black american fighters, and that he would be beat by a black american fighter. Which is pretty stupid. Other than that, I don't believe he's said anything else...
No we don't *******. nice way to generalize it. if you want to be childish i can remind you of who started racism and still exploits it the most in america. you say we cry racism everytime, but you guys sympathize more for mike vick's dogs than you do a minority. so who cares what you say? as for hopkins comment it was ignorant. marquez wasn't black. but that said, it would be a stylisitic mismatch for pacquiao, but only mayweather has the talent to exploit it.
